Hello I’m Helen, a specialist newborn photographer based near West Malling in Kent. From designing bespoke newborn sessions to editing the final images, I channel my passion and creativity at every step to deliver beautiful images for my clients.
I’ve lived in Kent for over 7 years and I love providing parents with calm and relaxed in home newborn sessions. As Mum to a young daughter, I understand the joy and tiredness that comes with the arrival of a new baby. It gives me great joy to offer parents in home newborn photoshoots so they can celebrate the birth of their baby with all their home comforts around them.

Having a newborn photoshoot is a wonderful celebration of your new baby and a milestone you’ll treasure and remember forever. Yet when you’ve just had a baby, you’ll likely feel tired, maybe even exhausted, recovering from one of the most incredible and demanding experiences in life, giving birth.
That’s why I’ve created a mobile newborn photography studio. I bring everything you’d expect to find in a newborn studio to your home, set it up safely in a small space so you can enjoy the session with all your home comforts around you.
I’ve lived in Kent a long time, and I love that my current home location near West Malling allows me to travel to many locations across Kent. My newborn session fee includes travel to Maidstone, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Kings Hill and Tunbridge Wells. I also travel to other locations across Kent for an additional mileage fee which I can confirm when you contact me.

From room temperature and lighting to colour schemes, I create a safe, calm and elegant environment for your baby so you can love the experience as much as you’ll love looking at your beautiful photographs.
My bespoke newborn photography sessions focus on comfort, trust and an understanding of both the baby's and parent's needs. I take time to ensure your baby is always calm and soothed, including taking breaks when required for feeding. I understand the importance of working closely and sensitively with new mums and dads, therefore each photoshoot is structured around the baby's pace. By entrusting me with this important milestone you can be assured your baby’s first moments will be immortalised in a beautiful, heartfelt and truly distinctive way.
Trained by experts and award winning photographers
Being a specialist newborn photographer means most of my 1:1 training has been with award winning newborn photographers including Marietta Balassa, Rachel Sloan and Jo Bradley. I’ve learnt newborn safety and techniques from the best in the business which means your baby will be in gentle, safe and experienced hands.
I love learning and I believe the process never stops. That’s why I learnt professional photography from award winning photographer and international judge Gary Hill and I’ve continued my professional development attending workshops with international judge Paul Wilkinson.
I’m also a member of The Guild of Photographers and The Society of Photographers for professional development and mentoring to ensure my images are the best they can be for my clients.
