I offer in home newborn photo sessions in West Malling, Kings Hill, Sevenoaks, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas within a 15 mile radius of West Malling (ME19).
I also offer in-home photoshoots outside of this area for an additional charge to cover mileage and travel time. Simply contact me to let me know your location and I will provide you with a session fee quote.

Occasionally I travel to Sussex and Essex for in home newborn photoshoots, as well as Greenwich and Lewisham if parking is available outside of the client’s home. For clients based in these locations, I provide a bespoke session fee quotation based on their address. If you’d like to enquire about this, simply contact me and we can discuss your requirements further.

Unfortunately, I do not have my own studio and therefore I cannot offer a studio based session.

I recommend booking your newborn photoshoot at the 20-30 week stage of pregnancy. When you book in, we’ll agree a tentative date based on your baby’s due date. We will then confirm the actual session date once your baby arrives. This flexibility means you don’t need to worry about changing the date. I understand due dates are just a guide and a baby’s birth date can be unpredictable.
Because I offer this flexibility to my clients, it means I may not be able to offer sessions at short notice. Please contact me if you have an urgent request for a newborn session and I’ll let you know if I’m able to accommodate your request.
-
A newborn session can be done at any time between 5 days and 6 weeks. If a baby is born premature, this can be extended to 8 weeks. The type of images you get will be dependent on the baby’s age at the time of the photoshoot. Every baby is different so there are no set rules; however as a general guide, you’ll get a wider variety of images with a baby under 14 days old than a baby at 6 weeks.
-
Once I’ve completed the in home studio set up which takes around 20 mins, you can expect your newborn photoshoot to take 2-3 hours. This allows time for feeding, changing and settling. It’s important that we go at the pace of your baby and we keep everything calm and relaxed. Allowing 2-3 hours means we can do this whilst making sure I can capture beautiful images of your little one.
-
I ask clients to provide clear floor space (no rugs, tables, etc.) measuring 6ft by 5ft or 1.8m by 1.5m. This is the minimum space I require to set up my in home mobile studio safely.
-
The best spaces are those where it’s relatively quiet, away from doors and windows. You will get the best images if the flooring is hard, ideally wood/laminate flooring or very hard carpet. It’s important I control the lighting so I normally look for spaces where light from doors and windows can be reduced using blinds, shutters or curtains. If this isn’t possible, I will bring a modifier with me to help deal with this challenge; just let me know in advance of your newborn session.
-
I will need to be able to park within 100m of your property so please ensure that this is available on the day to avoid a delay to the start of your photoshoot.
-
I use specialist equipment designed for professional photographers to use outside a studio. This means I will not require access to electrical plugs, unless I need to heat or cool down the space in which case I will bring a small electric fan for this purpose which will need to be plugged in close to where I’ll be taking the photos to ensure your baby remains comfortable.
-
Yes, I offer family and sibling images as part of your newborn photoshoot experience. When we have our pre-session consultation via phone or video call, just let me know what images you’d like and I’ll ensure I add it to your newborn session plan.
-
I have my own custom fine art style that I use to edit each of my images which you can see in my gallery. My overall approach is to ensure that the viewer’s eye is drawn straight to the baby and everything else simply frames and enhances the natural beauty of your baby. This means I’ll remove distractions including milk spots, acne, redness and jaundice whilst maintaining the texture of your baby’s skin so you can look back on your images and remember your little one exactly as they were at that age.
-
I will confirm on the day of your photoshoot when your images will be ready. I aim to have client galleries ready 2-3 weeks after the session depending on the size of the gallery.

Clients who select my classic or deluxe digital image packages have the option to either view their images online or arrange a complimentary in person viewing session where I can walk them through the images and help them decide which ones to select. This is an excellent option for clients who also wish to purchase printed products as they will be able to look through my range of product samples and choose.
Clients who select my mini digital image package will be able to view their images online using a secure link to a gallery, accessed using a PIN which I will provide at the same time as the link. The online gallery includes a slideshow feature to help clients choose their favourites, as well as a favourites option so clients can shortlist their favourites.

Mounted prints can be ordered via email or at an in person viewing session.
Due to the variety of options available for albums, folios and wall art, I recommend that these products are ordered at an in person viewing session to ensure you are happy with your selection before you place an order. Please note all orders are final and cannot be changed or refunded once I’ve placed the order with the lab.
-
Payments are due at three times. Your session fee is due at the time of booking your newborn photoshoot. Payment for your digital images is due on the day of your photoshoot. Then payment for all printed products is due at the in person viewing session, or if you choose to order mounted prints via email then payment is due once I’ve sent you payment details.
-
Once your products have arrived, I'll check them to ensure that they are in pristine condition post-delivery and they’ve printed exactly as expected. This means that in the unlikely event of any issues, I can resolve these direct with the lab and keep you informed. Once I've completed the check and I'm satisfied, I’ll get in touch with you to arrange personal delivery to your home. This personal service is included in the price of all my products for all clients who live within a 15 mile radius of West Malling (ME19). For clients who live outside of this area, you can either choose to collect your products from my home address or I can provide a quote for personal home delivery based on the additional travel time and mileage required for me to provide this service.
-
As a newborn photographer who loves professional development, I enjoy entering competitions and so I occasionally offer free newborn sessions (model calls) in exchange for using the images from the session for competition, on social media and my website. I announce all model call dates on my Facebook and Instagram pages.
